Our Skill Development Workshop for Women was a month-long program designed to empower women from low-income backgrounds with practical skills for economic independence. The workshop focused on tailoring, handicrafts, and basic entrepreneurship skills.
The workshop covered:
- Basic and advanced tailoring techniques
- Traditional and contemporary handicraft making
- Product design and quality control
- Pricing and marketing strategies
- Financial management for small businesses
50 women participated in the workshop, learning valuable skills that can help them earn a sustainable income. Each participant also received a starter kit to help them begin their entrepreneurial journey.
The workshop concluded with an exhibition where participants showcased and sold their creations. The response was overwhelming, with many participants receiving orders for their products.
We are committed to following up with the participants, providing mentorship and support as they apply their skills in the real world.
